Processing and modelling of Ocean Bottom Seismic data

The objective of this project is to increase the information which can be obtained from seismic data by using sophisticated processing and modelling/inversion methods. These methods include waveform inversion and reverse time migration, methods that are computationally expensive both in terms of CPU time and memory usage. Such methods have the potential of significantly increase the resolution of seismic images and this is the main goal of the project.
